 We're actively working on Highway Hustle and will be adding:

• Persistent saves (DONE!)

• Move to Godot game engine for extra features
• Publish on Google Play (and probably Apple too)

v1.0.6 Changes

This version brings us an inventory system, crafting system, and a few new items. The newest items, Chicken Feathers, brings a dead player back to life so they can keep going after being hit. They are crafted by combining Gem Shards in the Crafting window. Gem Shards are created by smashing Gems in the Emporium. You can trade the Coins you earn from successfully running across the highway for Gems. 

We're planning to add about 16 items total, some consumable and some permanent, that will give boosts or provide an advantage to players. Like, for instance one item may slow down traffic permanently, or another may double your earnings multiplier for that round.

How To Play 

Feeling lucky? Set your bet, and test your luck and skills as you try to cross this busy highway.

Betting

This game is all about betting your coins in hopes to win more. Click the bet input at the bottom left of the screen. Enter any amount of coins you want and then click elsewhere to save your bet.

Moving

Take your time and think out each move. Click the Start button to move to the first coin, this is your first move and you can get hit by traffic. To move further click the next coin. Each move increases your rewards and multiplier, but you can get hit by a vehicle and lose.

Skill Required

Your clicking skills are an important part of the game. If you click the coin when it is perfectly flat you greatly increase your odds of winning that move. Another important skill is timing your click when traffic has slowed down or stopped on the next lane.

Leveling Up

You are rewarded XP for every coin you collect. Every level increases your odds of winning a move.

Traffic

Traffic is deadly, so be careful. If you get hit by a vehicle you lose the round, plus your bet and XP gained that round. Not only is there regular traffic, but each time you choose to move you might be hit by a rogue vehicle, so choosing when to stop and cash out is important. 

Multiplier & Difficulty

The more moves you take in a round the higher the reward multiplier climbs. You can see your potential winnings in each lane above the coins. Increasing the difficulty increases the multiplier, but also increases your chance of being hit by a rogue vehicle. The final Mega Coin has a larger bonus multiplier.

Winning

You win a round in Highway Hustle by either making it all the way to the end or by clicking the Cash Out button after a successful move. You must make at least two moves per round to cash out.
